Výpustek Cave has opened a new adventure tour Discover the secrets of the cave

A second visitor route has been created in the Výpustek Cave near Křtiny in the Moravian Karst, Czech republic. The current „classic“ tour passes through a "nuclear shelter" - a secret underground headquarter, which in 1961 the Czechoslovak People's Army built inside the cave (about 200 meters long), as a separate facility, in case of war. The new adventure tour "Discover the secrets of the cave" leads around it - between the wall of the shelter and natural wall of the cave. Without electric lighting, with headlights on helmets, in clothes that can be soiled or overalls, visitors in small groups maximum of 10 people (reservation in advance required) will also pass through a part of the „Low Corridor“.
The narrow spaces have given the corridor its name. But the squatting visit is rewarded with a look at beautiful thin straws - hollow stalactites resembling macaroni. On the walls of the cave can be seen the historical signatures of visitors. Over the the railing the visitors can look down into one of the nine abysses of the cave. Across a new built metal footbridge, over the 3 meters high cover of shelter, they get to the other side.
There are five show caves in the Moravian Karst, near Brno: Výpustek Cave, Punkevní Caves with a boat tour on an underground river, Balcarka Cave, Kateřinská (Catherine) Cave and Sloupsko-šošůvské Caves. More at www.caves.cz and www.fb.com/jeskynecr and www.instagram.com/jeskynecr.
